Shaving Rash
Often called razor burn, this can be anything from dry, flaky skin, to really red, sore irritation after shaving. Shaving flakes of dead cells from the skin's surface leaves the skin extra sensitive. Aftershaves usually contain alcohol, and can irritate already sensitive skin.
Add three drops of clary sage oil and three drops of lavender to Β½ pint (300 ml) of rosewater or orange flower water. Put on the face after shaving and repeat after two to three hours.
This is an allergic reactions
caused by the pollens of various shrubs, trees and grasses. Its symptoms include sneezing, running nose and sore red eyes. Aromatherapy can ease hay fever, but will not cure it.
Add six drops of hyssop oil to a bowl of hot water and inhale the steam. Alternatively, mix six drops of hyssop oil in 2 fl oz (50 ml) of a carrier oil and massage it into your cheeks and under your nose regularly.
Important Note: People prone to epilepsy should avoid hyssop.
Jet Lag
A spurt pause frequently happens when you move in different time zones while travelling from one country to the other. This affects you when your internal body timepiece becomes disoriented. It can beget changes in the normal eating and sleep patterns and is generally enervating.
Drink plenitude of water and soft drinks during your flight. Avoid taking alcohol and if possible eat as little as possible. Sleep if you can and before travelling, make up the following aromatherapy mix.
Add four drops of rosemary, four drops of ylang ylang and four drops of bomb oil painting to 4 fl oz( 100 ml) of carrier oil painting. blarney it on the neck, face and reverse of the neck upto the base of the cranium during the flight. On appearance, pour some of the mix into a warm bath and soak in it for atleast 15 twinkles.
